Glow baby glow! From Pixi Beauty today I’ll be featuring the Glow in a Box. The box includes two Glow-y Gossamer Duos and five Liquid Fairy Lights. The Glow-y Gossamer Duos are described as a creamy skin-like texture powder to create a lit-from-within luminosity that looks natural in any light. The Liquid Fairy Lights are described as an ultra sparkling liquid eyeshadow with 3D effect to wear solo or on top of any eye look. I’ll be sharing swatches of everything and sharing my thoughts on each product. Let’s glow get them gorgeous!
The Liquid Fairy Lights come in the classic mint green Pixi packaging, and you get 5g of product in each tube. They have a flat paddle-like applicator which picks up the product on both sides. The shade names from top to bottom are PassionLight, BareBrilliance, RoseGold, SunRay, and Crystalline.
The formula of these feels very wet. I would apply very little to the center of your lid and then blend out. Don’t open your eye until it’s dry or else it will get all over the place. There is some fall out with these. It would be best to do your eye makeup first so to wipe off any fall out easier. Glitter is always tricky, but when done right it will take your eye look to the next level.
The Glow-y Gossamer Duos are stunning! They really do feel like silk and glide on the face with such ease. What a beautiful glow it gives your skin too. Use a highlighting brush to achieve a soft glow and for a more intense glow use your fingertips. I love how this product doesn’t accentuate my already large pores. On the left/top we have Delicate Dew and next to it is Subtle Sunrise.
