MAC Boom, Boom, Bloom Collection with Swatches
This post contains commissionable links.
The limited edition MAC Cosmetics Boom, Boom, Bloom collection has arrived both in stores and online! Just in time to create your favorite rosy spring looks. Available in this collection is a cherry blossom scented fix+, strobe cream, two high-light powders, five lipsticks, four lipglass shades, and a nine pan eyeshadow palette. Today I’ll be sharing swatches of the two high-light powders, three lipglass, two lipsticks, and the eyeshadow palette.
Packaging
Let’s start with the beautiful packaging. Inspired by cherry blossom trees the base color is pearlescent white with a shower of cherry blossom petals in a lovely array of pinks. It is simply stunning. If you are an avid collector of MAC limited edition products, you’ll need at least one piece from this collection.
There are two high-light powder’s available in this collection. Fleur Real a light pastel pink and Spring Bling a red brown. The swatches are built up, but these blend out nicely for a subtle look. They also feature a beautiful cherry blossom design embossed into the powder.
If you were to pick only one product in this collection get yourself a lipstick! I’m loving these two shades. Wagasa Twirl is described as a dirty blue pink with pearl, and Framboise Moi is a raspberry pink. Both are matte shades. Also available in the collection is Hey, Kiss Me! a pastel pink (cremesheen), Hi-Fructease a pink coral (matte), and Tsk Tsk! a bright warm pink (matte).
At a total weight of 0.20 oz and about the size of a compact the nine pan eyeshadow palettes from MAC are super travel-friendly. The Kabuki Doll palette offers beautiful warm neutral colors in matte, frost, and veluxe pearl formulas.
Shade names and descriptions from top to bottom:
Dust Off – soft beige shimmer (frost)
Making Mauvey Moves – mauvey pink (matte)
TokyoDrifter – shimmery midtone taupe (veluxe pearl)
Don’t Be Koi! – rosy gold (frost)
Spice Dynasty – yellow brown (matte)
Bamboo-zled – pinky bronze (veluxe pearl)
Fortune Kookie – frosty rusted pink (frost)
Kabuki Doll – plum red (matte)
Kyoto Kitty – red bronze (frost)
The collection includes four lipglass shades. The three you see below as well as Pink-A-Boo a bright blue pink. MAC lipglass is a high shine formula and can be worn alone or over your favorite lipstick or lipliner. These contain jojoba oil which can help soften and condition the lips.
This collection also includes a limited edition cherry blossom scented Fix+. The scent is not overpowering and is quite refreshing. Get your favorite makeup setting spray in this beautiful packaging.
This MAC Boom, Boom, Bloom collection is now available online and in select stores. What will you be picking up from this collection? Like I mentioned earlier in this post if you were to have to pick just one item to get from this collection go with a lipstick. I love the two shades I received and think I may want to add Hi-Fructease to my collection as well. I love an excellent coral for spring!
