Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access is going on now through July 19th. That means if you’re a Nordstrom cardholder you get to shop the sale before the general public. Starting July 20th the deals will be available to everyone through August 4th. I thought I’d give you a rundown of what I’ve purchased… so far lol, items I own and would recommend, and what is still on my wish list. There are some excellent deals you won’t want to miss!
What I've Purchased
Rebecca Minkoff Medium Satchel
I purchased this bag in the color New Grey several months ago on sale. I love the bag but wasn’t entirely sold on the color. I wanted it in black, but it was full price at the time. I have yet to use the bag, and I’m so glad because I’m totally returning it for the black. Winning!!
I’ve been struggling with getting on the mule trend, but when I saw these, I jumped right on the bandwagon. Haha! I debated on getting them in black but ultimately decided on the grey. I feel as though the grey is more of a neutral shade and that I’d get more use out of them.
Lucky Brand booties are my favorite! I probably have 3 or 4 different styles in my closet, and they are all extremely loved. When I initially saw these, I passed over them, but when I saw that they were available in this Olive color, I was sold. It was between these and another pair of booties you’ll see in the wish list category. I’m keeping my options open because I’m a little weary about possibly not being about to wear socks with these because of the slit. Vanity vs. stinky feet hmmmmm we shall see. Lol!!
Items I Own and Recommend

This mirror is the best investment I ever made! This newer version now has brightness control, and it comes in rose gold. It is 8 inches and has a 5x magnification. Perfect for applying makeup or tweezing. It has a sensor and lights up automatically as your face approaches. It is cordless and rechargeable. You can adjust the height and tilt it. I can not say enough good things about this mirror!
The best rain boots I’ve ever owned! Super comfortable, stylish, and easy to clean. Both the tall and short in black are on sale. I’ve owned both but prefer the short. I find that the short is easier to put on and take off. They each give you completely different looks, so it’s just a matter of preference.
I’ve had this straightener for well over a year now, and I love it. It heats up super quick, I believe it’s 20 seconds and heats up to a perfect 325 degrees. It maintains the heat, so I’m able to straighten my super thick hair in minutes. It glides over my hair with ease without pulling or snagging. The crisp white color and sleek design make it nice to look at too 🙂 At this price, it’s an excellent deal!
Things Still On My Wishlist
I’ve always purchased zip around wallets and kind of want something slimmer and different. I’ve been debating on this one but haven’t fully decided yet. Because do I really need a new wallet, probably not lol!! This one comes in two other shades, navy and plum berry.
These teddy bear style jackets always catch my eye. I own a beautiful grey one that is a little bit more formal whereas this has more of casual laid back feel to it. These are so comfy and cozy. If you don’t own a teddy bear style coat, do yourself a favor and get one 😉
Is it wrong that I really love these booties because of the orange lining!? These are on my wishlist because I was trying to decide between them and the Lucky booties. If for any reason I don’t like the Lucky ones I’m going to give these a go. I also really love the snake print. Which would you have chosen the Lucky Brand or these? Charlotte Tilbury Glowing Skin Palette
This palette is gorgeous and is such a good deal, but I’m having trouble pulling the trigger because do I really need another cheek palette, probably not. If you love CT products and are not a makeup hoarder like me, I wouldn’t give this a second thought. If you have this, I’d love to hear what you think about it in the comments below!
Supergoop SPF 50 Setting Spray
I’ve been very intrigued with SPF setting sprays. I currently have the one by Kate Somerville and love it. This one has wonderful reviews, is a bit more affordable, and it comes with a cute little travel size. I really don’t know what’s stopping me from purchasing it. It’ll probably end up in my cart in no time, haha! If you’ve tried it you know the drill, sound off below.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to stock up on your favorites and to purchase those items you’ve been eyeing for awhile, but the price point was just a little too high.
