Tarte Unleashed Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches, and Video Tutorials

This post contains commissionable links.

You are not ready for this!! The Tarte Unleashed eyeshadow palette is like a hidden gem! Why does it feel like no one is talking about this palette!? I mean, it performs like or even better than those palettes well over $50 but has a price point that will have your jaw-dropping.

Today I will be walking you through the packaging, showing you swatches, and even giving you a video tutorial of a makeup look I created using this palette. I didn’t forget to show you the final look and give you a list of all the products I used as well!

This post is jam-packed, so grab a drink and scroll on through. You can thank me in the comments section at the end. 😉 Love you guys! Thank you in advance for reading and supporting me!

Packaging

The Tarte Unleashed eyeshadow palette comes in a beautiful hot pink with blues and purples decorated in a rainforest theme unicarton. Included with the palette is a travel-size Big Ego mascara. All for only $39!

The palette itself has the same design as the unicarton but with the words Young, Wild & Cruelty Free on the outside. The exterior of the palette also has this 3D effect with movement. As you tilt the palette, it looks as though the image is moving. It’s beautiful! The palette is sturdy, and it isn’t too large, which makes it easy to travel with.

Inside you will find a full-size mirror and 15 very large eyeshadows. The packaging states net wt 1.2g x 15. I’m going to assume that means each pan weighs in at a whopping 1.2g and in ounces 0.043 each. They’re massive!

Swatches

These swatches don’t do this palette justice! The mattes look patchy swatched on the arm, but check out the video below, and you’ll see how effortlessly they blend out. These shades are stunning in person, and the shimmers are phenomenal. Here are the shade names with their descriptions from left to right:

Swan Song – pearl sheen
Oh Deer – matte mauve
Hippocritical – lilac shimmer
Bear Necessities – matte dark brown
Koalified – matte purple brown
Toucan Do It – matte orange
No Fox Given – matte burnt orange
Iguana Love You – burgundy shimmer
Irrelephant – light bronze shimmer
Toad-Ally – turquoise shimmer
You’re Lion – champagne shimmer
Monkey Business – gold shimmer
Camelflauge – matte brown
Hawkward – pewter sparkle
Party Animal – navy blue sparkle

How to Get The Look

To highlight my brow bone and inner corner, I used the shade Swan Song with my Luxie 211 Concealer brush. Using my Sigma Tapered Blending E40 brush, I applied Oh Deer to my crease. All over the lid, I applied Hippocritical with my Sigma Eye Shading E55 brush. To deepen the crease, I used Camelflauge with my Sigma Blending E25 brush. With that same brush, I blended a bit of Toucan Do It into my crease. Finally, with my Makeup Geek Outer V Brush, I used both Oh Deer and Camelflauge on my lower lash line.

Final Thoughts

The Tarte Unleashed palette, in my opinion, is a no brainer! For only $39, you get a 15 pan eyeshadow palette and a travel size of their Big Ego mascara. Like I mentioned earlier in this post, these pan sizes are massive too! I’m in love with this palette and foresee it getting a lot of love from me. The shades I used for this look where so easy to use. They are pigmented, super soft, and so easy to blend. I highly recommend this palette!

Also, I believe both Ulta and Sephora have coupons available right now so be sure to take advantage of one of those. I recommend Ulta because their point system is so much better than Sephora’s.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by and reading. Please take a moment to like and share this post if you enjoyed it. I also hope you’ll consider subscribing before you leave.

Until next time be happy, be kind, be you!
