Urban Decay Naked Honey Review and Swatches

Oh, honey, you’re not ready for this!! Urban Decay’s NEW eyeshadow palette, Naked Honey, is dropping tomorrow! This gal is a beauty, the packaging, the golden neutral shades, the formula, all of it is perfection. In this post I’ll be showing you swatches, giving you my thoughts, and all the things. Let’s jump in!
First, let’s talk about the spectacular golden packaging. The hard plastic packaging is comparable to the Naked 2 and Naked 3 palettes. The silky golden design is breathtakingly beautiful! It houses a mirror all along the inside lid of the palette and has a magnetic closure. Included is the standard double-sided brush you see in almost all Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes. The palette includes twelve exclusive golden neutrals weighing 0.95g each. The standard cardboard uni-carton has all weight details, a description, and the shades with their names on the back.
Shades from Left to Right:
Flyby – ivory satin
Sweet – neutral beige matte
Swarm – soft mustard matte
Amber – metallic copper shimmer
Keeper – mustard brown matte
Golden – rich gold shimmer
Honey – intense gold metallic
Queen – golden brown shimmer
Hive – warm brown matte
Drip – warm reddish-brown matte
HBIC – rosy bronze shimmer
Sting – deep warm brown matte
The shades all swatched phenomenally on my arm. You get the same amazing Urban Decay formula of eyeshadows, pigmented, smooth, and easy to use. A few things to remember, you can’t be savage when using the shimmer and metallic shades on your eyes, it WILL get everywhere. Make sure you have a good packing eyeshadow brush and maybe even use some fix+ for control and an added punch of color. The matte shades all blended nicely. However, the shade Sting requires a little bit more work. Other than that you’re good to go and the possibilities are endless!
