Patrick Starrr has done it again! If I’m not mistaken, this is his third collection with MAC Cosmetics. I’ve lost count haha! This collection is called Destination Diva. The new fall collection with its sultry hues will help you achieve a beautiful dark smokey eye and includes two kits. Each kit consists of an eyeshadow quad and Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour. MAC was kind enough to send over kit number one, Oh No She Beta Don’t. I’ll be swatching both the liquid lipstick and eyeshadow quad for you today.
Packaging
I don’t know about you, but this brown and gold packaging is giving me total Louis Vuitton vibes. It looks like a traveling trunk. I love it! The lipstick and eyeshadow quad is housed in your standard plastic MAC Cosmetics packaging and does not include a mirror. Both pieces have Patrick’s signature on them in gold. Each kit is packaged nicely in tissue paper and sold in a collectors box.
Swatches
The eyeshadow quad is called Sugah Mama and includes the shades Sugah Stick (soft caramel), Deception (cool medium brown), First Class (blackened brown), and Damn She Olive (deep blackened olive). The Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour is called Ultimate Diva (cool nude).
The eyeshadow quad performed much better on the eyes then it did swatched on the arm. I was able to create a complete smoky eye look with this quad. My favorite shade would have to be Damn She Olive. I live for olive tones like this one especially all over the eyelids.
The liquid lipstick is not my favorite formula but the shade is super pretty. It’s described as a cool nude, but I feel like it’s more of a warm terracotta shade on me. I love shades like this for the fall. What’s your favorite fall lip color? Let us know in the comments below.
Both kits, Oh No She Beta Don’t and Boy About Town, from the Patrick Starrr x MAC Cosmetics Destination Diva collection will be available in select MAC locations and maccosmetics.com on September 6, 2018.
Boy About town is priced at $18.50, and Oh No She Beta Don’t is priced at $21. I’m not sure why there is a price difference since both include the same products just different shades. Super weird!
Below is what you’ll find in the Boy About Town kit. The lipsick is called #Pattypout and the eyeshadow quad is called Overpacked.
Will you be marking your calendar and setting your alarm to snag something from the Patrick Starrr x MAC Destination Diva collection? Which kit is speaking to your soul?
Thank you so much for stopping by and reading. Please take a moment to like and share this post if you enjoyed it. I also hope you’ll consider subscribing before you leave.
Until next time be happy, be kind, be you!
