MAC Hyper Real Glow Palettes

The new MAC Cosmetics Hyper Real Glow palettes will be officially available tomorrow, Feb 15th. There are two shade range options. The Get it Glowin’ which has more golden tones and the Flash + Awe in more rosy tones. They retail for $39.50 each.
Each palette houses 3 different shades and a decent size mirror. All in sturdy and sleek black cardboard packaging. The lettering on the front is slightly raised which gives it a really nice feel. The palettes are described as ultra-reflective, easy to blend, and give a flawless smooth sheen.
Shades from top to bottom: Flash + Awe, Rosy Glow, and Light of the Party

Shade Descriptions:
Flash + Awe: Palest silvery shimmery pink
Rosy Glow: Medium toned shimmer shell pink
Light of the Party: Flesh toned shimmery peachy pink
Get It Glowin’: Fleshy peach with fine gold shimmer
Gold Coasting: Champagne gold with gold shimmer
Rosy Cheer: Rich golden bronze with fine gold shimmer
I love the formula of these! They’re super smooth and creamy with a powdery finish and minimal fallout. As you can see the pigment is there and the glow is so real! Definitely easy to apply and blend. Use a heavy or light hand to get the desired look. Highlight the tops of your cheeks, browbone, nose, wherever your heart desires. I mean you could go for the disco ball look if that’s what you’re into 😉 These will get the job done and don’t disappoint!

I think both are very unique and it comes down to personal preference. I use to gravitate more towards rosy toned highlighters but have recently realized that golden highlighters look more flattering on my skin tone. So I guess if I had to choose just one I’d go for the Get it Glowin’ palette.
