The NARS Summer 2018 Liquid Lip Collection is here! This series includes five new shades in both the Powermatte Lip Pigment and Velvet Lip Glide formulas. Along with these ten new shades, NARS has introduced a new formula, the Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer. Keep on reading to see swatches of all the beautiful new shades.

I absolutely love the Velvet Lip Glide formula! It is so comfortable and has this beautiful satin finish. It’s not sticky or drying. The color payoff is great, and it is super moisturizing. My favorite shade of the five you see here would have to be Xenon. Do you have a favorite? Let us know in the comments down below.

Velvet Lip Glide Shades from Top to Bottom:
SWING – neutral rose
ROSELAND – rose blush
XENON – dusty mauve
PARADISE GARAGE – soft plum
MARS – warm brown

The Powermatte Lip Pigment matte liquid lipstick formula does not feather or bleed. It applies effortlessly, has smooth opaque coverage, and has a true matte finish. For a matte liquid lipstick, I find this formula to be comfortable and not super drying. I’m living for the shade You’re No Good. How about you?

SOMEBODY TO LOVE – rose brown
CALL ME – coral
YOU’RE NO GOOD – dark reddish fuchsia
VAIN – brick red
SPIN ME – rich red brown

The limited edition Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer is a new creamy formula that gives lips intense color and a whole lot of shine. It’s not sticky at all. They do apply streaky but press your lips together, and everything evens out. I just popped on Conquest, and I love it! So comfortable too! Which shade do you like the most?

AT FIRST SIGHT – clear with gold pearl
SANTO DOMINGO – mauve pink
CONQUEST – warm pink
CAPE TOWN – metallic gold with pink shimmer

Let’s talk applicators. The Velvet Lip Glide applicator is shown here on top and continuing clockwise we have the Powermatte Lip Pigment and then the Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer. The Lip Glide is a double-sided flat applicator. Both sides pick up product which means you don’t have to dip into the tube as much when applying. The Powermatte applicator is a custom doe-foot applicator which allows for easy precision. The Full Vinyl applicator is described by NARS as a two-sided applicator with a plush side to deposit color onto lips, and a smooth side to evenly distribute pigments.
