Thumbhole Jackets, Sweaters, and Shirts for Boys

This post contains commissionable links.

The other day my oldest son got dressed for school, came downstairs, and grabbed some scissors. Before I could ask what he was doing, he luckily put the scissors down and looked at me and said, “can I cut some thumb holes in my shirt.” After loads of praise for asking before cutting holes into his shirt, I told him that cutting holes into his shirt will ruin it. He then expresses how badly he wanted some thumbhole shirts, so here we are. The hunt was somewhat of a challenge, but I managed to find a few pieces. For all the boy moms out there with very fashion-forward boys, this one is for you.

The three half-zip pullover shirts above are super lightweight and are made of a breathable fabric which claims to wicks moisture and dry fast.

The fleece jacket is a lightweight jacket perfect for the fall. It is fleece lined throughout, has two zip pockets, an inner wind flap at the zipper, and a water-resistant overlay. The zipper pulls are reflective, and there is also a spot on the inside for your child’s name and phone number.

My boys love these pullover hoodies the most. It’s still 90 degrees outside you guys, and they keep putting them on. That’s how much they love them. These hoodies feature a kangaroo front pocket and fleece lining. The sizing is a bit tricky on these. I purchased the size 6 for my five-year-old, and it fits perfectly. For my seven-year-old, I got the size small, and it has some growing room.

Are your kiddos picky about their clothes? What styles are they loving? Let’s chat in the comments down below!
